Aeris Gainsborough is a character out of Final Fantasy VII, one of the most popular RPG series that ever hit the US market. She sells flowers in an otherwise dark and dreary part of town. Her mysterious background makes her a target for the bureaucrats of Shinra, who are deeply interested in her unusual magical abilities. Cloud Strife, the main character, stumbles upon her only to find out that she is part of the key to his past. In travelling with Cloud, Aeris cultivates a crush for him.

Pros - You can't help but like her. She's mysterious and charming. Unscathed by the dreary world she lives in, she has a heart of gold.

Cons - She's a little bit of a damsel in distress, however, it fits well with her role, and there are other stronger women in the game to balance it out. Not to mention, she's not a half-bad fighter so she doesn't always take on the damsel in distress role. She does however seem a bit too naive for her role, seeing as how she grew up in the slums and yet is completely innocent in nature.

Overall (7/10) - I believe Aeris was a good character in the game. She worked well for her role and she was entertaining to play.
