The Look (6/10) - She's a japanime-style character dressed in a pink dress with a red jacket and girly pink bow. She seems to have a slightly "80's" influence in her dresscode. Her overall look could be described as "innocent".
Attitude (8/10) - Aeris has a very detailed persona and is fundamentally complex in nature. Aeris holds a deep affection for Cloud, and yet she tries to keep Tifa, who also has a crush on Cloud, in good spirits with her. She comes across as very innocent in nature. Unknowing of her own past and fate, she seems to have little baggage, but as her past unfolds, she becomes very complex. Her attitude portrays that of a little innocent girl, which fits her roll in the game pretty well.
Intelligence (4/10) - Aeris seems a bit naive in the beginning, which goes along with her "innocent" persona. Although it fits with her roll in the story, you would think someone who lives in the dark and dreary part of town would not be so naive.
Stance (8/10) - Like all Final Fantasy 7 characters, her movement was very cartoony, and her model in the game was very chunky. However, this was the style of this particular game, and it worked. I think it looked good for what it was, although some people I have talked to have disagreed.
Voice (N/A) - Not Applicable. Final Fantasy VIII uses bubbles as speech. It's unfortunate, but perhaps with the release of Final Fantasy VIII that will change.
Scripts (8/10) - This game was designed to play like a movie, so the scripts were really good. Her scripts filled her part really well for the type of role they were putting her into. There were some times when she was weak, but there were times when every character in the game went through some kind of crisis.
Marketing Effort (8/10) - Final Fantasy VII is a hugely popular game. The one commercial that sticks in my mind is the one where the commercial seems to be a commercial for a movie. They mention in the comercial that people say this "movie" couldn't be done, and that those people are right. Then they break it to you that it's a game not a movie. That commercial really did sum up Final Fantasy VII, and the shots in it were interesting and contained some nice shots of the female characters. I believe the commercial targetted both men and women.
