Q: Have you also considered making games for preadolescent girls, or do you plan to focus on adult women in your projects?

A: There are some great titles out there for younger girls, and it's fantastic to finally see better technology being used including real time graphics, voice recognition and advanced digital technology in peripherals.

Women Wise is for Women although we may get the fringe market of teenage girls. After the Oregon Trail which pre-teens love, teen girls don't have much of a choice. They love the Legend of Lotus Spring.

Long range we are contemplating a Young Women Wise division, but we have a lot of work ahead of us in breaking down stereotypes and market resistance first. I am a firm believer in doing quality work before quantity.

Q: In our discussion forum, you stated, "our philosophy is to give back to the women's community by encouraging women in computer communications and the Information Technology Industry." How do you plan to do this?

A: The philosophy of Women Wise is to identify and produce titles which service the interests and needs of women. A percentage of profits from the titles will go back to helping women enter the Information Technology community.

We are actively seeking corporate sponsorships for cross-promoting products, so that we may raise additional funds for education, awareness building and scholarship programs.

We are in discussions with various women in technology and internet organizations to funnel the monies raised into their CURRENT programs. This allows us to be more efficient, not having to start from the ground up. Long term we dream of creating the Women Wise Foundation.

On a small scale, we have already given women an opportunity to showcase technical and creative talents on our web site, and through the development of the high-tech ebook.

So much of our philanthropic efforts will depend on the success of this first title.

In early history the phrase "wise women" was used to describe the highly learned women of their times. Women Wise aims to acknowledge and help promote modern day "wise women" through computer technology.

As a group I hope we will get our voices heard, especially through the power of the internet and with web sites of intelligence. Thank you for having me be a part of your community.
