Geek Woman: KSI has a pretty serious code of conduct. If the male members were all adhering to the rules then wouldn't female gamers be safe from getting harassed on Live? So then why a girl clan within the KSI League?
KSI Lady Zen: I have never run into a problem within KSI, I have found all the male members to be quite personable and nice. Yet even with the code of conduct, female gamers are still being harassed in match-made games outside of the clan. I believe the reason for the all-female clan is to encourage more women to join without the pressure of having to be "equal in skill" as with a lot of co-ed teams. I had actually made a discussion about this on the MLG forums, in regards to having a female online tournament to encourage other female gamers to play and possibly take the game more seriously. Many girls that never used to play video games and proclaim they suck are sometimes more influenced to feel confident after seeing another female's passion for the games. Some of them later become gamers or want to get more involved. Many of these girls feel more comfortable when accompanied by other females... that's where we step in.

KSI Broken Angel: Even though the number of girl gamers is increasing all the time, there's still so few females playing computer games that it's nice to have a haven from such a male dominated environment. There's such a stigma that girls who play games are never very good and we're proving that girls can kick ass too!
KSI Destiny: I do have to agree with you, that the code of conduct is pretty serious, but nothing hard to abide by, but I have to say no about the harassment question. There are over thousands and thousands of gamers on X-Box live, and rules are not always followed by those that are given the rules. Also a girls clan is pretty difficult to make, for that there are only so many girls out there in the gaming world, but why not have an all girls KSI League? Therefore, right now at this very instant is a KSI Ladies League, KSI Sirens.
KSI Queen: I have never once been harassed by a male member of KSI. The girl clan exists to offer girls a chance to meet other girls who are passionate about the game. My first year of playing XBOX Live my friend's list had no girls on it because of the scarcity of girls online. KSI Sirens allows girls a chance to meet and get to know other girls who are as passionate about gaming as I am and provides an outlet for social activity amongst girls. Not all girls in KSI are required to join Sirens and are allowed to join other clans within KSI. The girls in Sirens are there because they choose to be not because they feel threatened.
Geek Woman: Do you meet up and play together or at your own homes?
KSI Broken Angel: Our members are from all across America and the world so meeting up doesn't happen often. Members generally meet up at tournaments and/ or conventions.
KSI Destiny: Well as of right now, we are playing with each other at our own homes, but we are trying to set up something so almost all the girls and guys can meet each other at a specific location. Hopefully the world wide tournament in Louisville, Kentucky can bring us somewhat a bit of luck.
KSI Queen: Unfortunately I do not know anyone who lives around me that plays Halo. I have met all my online friends from home.
KSI Lady Zen: If the case was that I knew anyone who played Halo 2 in my area I would invite them over, but seeing that I live in Toronto Canada and my teammates live in the United States its not possible. Yet even though I am not able to invite my teammates over to play I constantly have my best friends playing online with me.
