Geek Woman: What do you think about sexy female avatars in games?

KSI Broken Angel: I think as long as developers continue to make female avatars large-breasted and scantily clad that female gamers will continue to be suppressed. In such an equal opportunities and politically correct society its quite disappointing to see a whole industry behind the times.

KSI Destiny: I don`t have a problem with sexy female avatars, as long as they don`t go too far with the graphics.

KSI Queen: I personally do not care for sexy female avatars. But I understand that the gaming industry is heavily dominated by male consumers who like that type of thing. I choose to ignore it and base the games I play by their content not the way the characters look.

KSI Lady Zen: I think its really tasteless when you're playing a game and the only way they portray women is like some trashy slut.

Geek Woman: Do you play a female avatar in competitions?

KSI Destiny: It doesn't matter to me, I don`t choose gender, I just pick.

KSI Queen: Halo does not offer female avatars. Even though in reality, Mater Chief's uniform keeps anyone from distinguishing his true sex. The female spartan that was created for Dead or Alive 4 honestly looked the same as Master Chief for the Halo games except that she spoke with a female voice.

KSI Lady Zen: If there's an option to choose a female character I usually do.

Geek Woman: What do you think of in-game advertising?

KSI Broken Angel: Personally I don't have a problem with it as long as it doesn't detract anything form the game itself.

KSI Destiny: I don't have a problem with it.

KSI Queen: I don't mind in-game advertising. It has no impact on me and it generates more revenue for the gaming industry allowing them to produce better products.

KSI Lady Zen: Personally I don't see a problem with it as long as its appropriate.

WomenGamers.Com would like to thank KSI Broken Angel, KSI Destiny, KSI Queen and KSI Lady Zen for their time.
