Electra: To have a playing field wide-open with women gamers coming out and openly playing in many all-women clans. I would like to see women gamers involved in some higher tier typically male clans, because there are many skilled female gamers that will do great competively at that level.
X-quisite: That you don't have to be a guy to play these sorts of games. Some girls want to play them but are afraid that the male community won't accept it.
Peach: I think that making videogames that are women friendly, but are good games. While "Mary-Kate and Ashley Mystery Mall" was an amusing one-night rental, there should be games that incorporate females and don't deal with shopping or coordinating outfits. One that comes to mind for me is Perfect Dark, where the main character is a woman named Joanna Dark. It was an extremely popular FPS game featuring a woman, and was the game the kick-started my full interest in gaming.
Foxy: The harassment and stereotypes we recieve. We can be just as good as guys. There shouldn't be an argument. It's not that hard to point and click a mouse, eh ladies? It's not like I'm going to break a nail.
*wS* Kat: I just feel like I have to take a lot of verbal abuse and harassment. I love talking but I fear to at times because I'm afraid people will bug me. I also feel like I've got something to prove a lot of the time.
Geek Woman: What events do you have coming up?
Bella: Weekly we have mandatory practices. Wednesday night is 1.3 dod and Thursday night is for day of defeat source. Plus any other scrims or pubbing that are arranged during the week. We'll also be joining in another season of TPG and see if we can make it to the finals again! As well, with our new sponsor #djsunite we might try to get together at some lans. Djsunite also broadcasts our matches!
Electra: We have TPG playoffs coming up for our 3v3 division.
X-quisite: We are in the finals for TPG!!!!!!!!!! Wooooooot, go ladies!!
Geek Woman : What do girls have to do to join?
Bella: They must play with us a few times. Be active in our forums, sign up at the site http://www.warsisters.net and have Xfire and Ventrilo. One thing we insist on is a working microphone. Not only is it needed for communication it is a way for us to confirm they are a girl. We also require the girls to be respective not only to others but the girls in the clan. Also, to have a positive attitude.
Electra: We ask that all girls interested in joining have a mic and at least an hour per week to give to practice; which is time we have set aside to get to know one-another better.
X-quisite: Post on the forums that they wish to be recruited. Pubbing with us shows us that they really want to be a part of wS, and coming to practices of course.
Geek Woman: What is your favorite thing about the clan?
Bella: Hanging out with the girls! When you connect online, there's someone on. And on the rare times no girls are around, we have a bunch of regulars who are awesome and will hang out and talk or play with you. It's a great community and I very glad that we have the girls we do. They are all a pleasure to hang out with and be around. Something I enjoy is the fact we have an exclusive sponsorship with #cometservers. They have been just wonderful to us. They have provided us with Vent, 3 servers and lots of support. We are very appreciative of them. And without them we wouldn't be where we are today. Thanks!
Electra: Getting to know other women, and learning that we have lots of things in common. There have been friendships formed in this clan that will last forever.
X-quisite: The ladies. They are all a bunch of great girls. I LOVE playing with them, I mean we all have our differences sometimes but we are such a strong clan that we always get through them. I Love You All!!!
Peach: Also, the girls are hilarious. Whenever we play someone has me cracking up! It's a great community and I feel very lucky to have found it!!
